The aim of the Department of the College of agricultural and Environmental Sciences is to provide a suitable scientific climate for students, by relying on the foundations and advanced university curricula that meet the requirements of the modern era, supported by a qualified academic cadre capable of communicating knowledge in a sound and integrated manner to students. The Me Faculty of Science, Agriculture and environmental patterns of non-traditional educational methods(learning) to train cadres qualified and able efficiently to compete locally and regionally in agricultural areas, according to the latest skills required by the labor market and able to adapt with the changes of the surrounding environment, enriching the innovative scientific research.

From this point of view, the college relied on the case study curriculum and the philosophy of self-education, which gives students different skills that help them practice methods of collecting information and analyzing it to solve a particular problem, and these basic skills ensure the continuity of education for the student, which enables him to continue his learning even after graduation to This system ensures the preparation of agronomists capable of dealing with different agricultural environments, and the College established the idea of community participation study by targeting the development of different students ' skills through self-learning, in addition to establishing the idea of community participation to Al-Arish University to solve pressing agricultural problems and contribute to providing models of economically feasible agricultural projects
